In addition to learning about careers in STEM, students will take a deep dive into their personal development with an assigned career coach.
Immersive Career Guidance
Take an immersive look at STEM careers and be connected with industry professionals from a variety of industries.
Hands-on experience
Students will work together on a CRE8 Your Future project. They will create a mock business and learn the principles of entrepreneurial thinking.

PROGRAM GOALS

Enhance community awareness about career opportunities in underrepresented industries.

Prepare students for a career and strengthen communities through exploration, mentoring and industry skills training.

Increase career opportunities for minority youth in high demand or emerging industries.
ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS
Students attend a total of 16 sessions: 8 Thursday virtual sessions and 8 Saturday sessions
Students are expected to attend a minimum of 80% of the sessions (i.e. must attend at least 14 of the 18 sessions)
Students will gain immersive work experience during their Saturday sessions and online outside of academy days
